02 FEB 2016 LENR A STRANGE STORY AND INFO

MOTTO

We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and uncertainty! (Douglas Adams)

You are never dedicated to something you have complete confidence in. No one is fanatically shouting that the sun is going to rise tomorrow. They know it's going to rise tomorrow. When people are fanatically dedicated to political or religious faiths or any other kinds of dogmas or goals, it's always because these dogmas or goals are in doubt. (Robert M. Pirsig)

DAILY NOTES

I doubt my tiny doubt regarding if the E-Cat generators generating massive excess heat  is indeed of any value; too much hellfire is a greater risk than fast extinguishing of flames. I hope soon my micro-doubts will melt away.

Today I have found this document:
http://peswiki.com/index.php/Article:_Key_info_inadvertently_omitted_from_Pons_and_Fleischmann_report
It is  a bit strange- sincerely I doubt it has any basis but as the Italians say: "se non è vero, è ben trovato" (even if it is not true it is well conceived) It is also known that the worst lies have frequently a high degree of similarity with the "pure" truth- that is not known exactly in this case. Stanley Pons could tell -if he wants.
Reading it- a question came to my mind:
"What exactly has discovered Fleischmann and Pons?"
Nobody likes my answer and that includes me.

The first part of this paper is about the key issues of the theory of low energy  nuclear reactions (LENR) The hypothesis and the semi-empirical model of LENR is based on the analyses of the mass defects of the initial and the final products of combustion. Our integro-differential theory based on the law of Avogadro, the equations of conservation of mass, impulse and energy.  is combined and compatible with the bases of classical nuclear physics, the laws of thermodynamics
and the experimental facts. An important advantage of the proposed theory is the possibility to calculate the quantity of the released thermal energy and the possibility to recommend compositions of the initial LENR fuel with the relative evaluation of their thermal effectiveness.
With the aim to confirm the theory we gave a review nad analysis of the experimental data obtained recently in LENR.
In the second part of the paper we have called the attention of the specialits and experts to the broad possibilities of practical uses poof LENR in the future thermoenergetics and transport.

Hello, Mr. Rossi. I would like to ask the following question: Was there an updated analysis of the ash of spent fuel? He confirmed the phenomenon of isotopic shift of nickel to 62 ?. Are there any plans to reprocess spent fuel, sales of nickel isotope 62 for use in the battery Nickel betavoltaiks 63.

EK:
E-Cat X: strong progress on course for the direct productin of electric power: very promising.
1 MW E-Cat: troubles during the night, but now stable.
Warm Regards,
A.R.

M Breslin:
Leonardo Corporation’s Intellectual Property value depends on the results of the tests on course. Such results, for many reasons, could be either positive or negative.
Warm Regards,
A.R.

7) Article: Key info inadvertently omitted from Pons and Fleischmann report
http://peswiki.com/index.php/Article:_Key_info_inadvertently_omitted_from_Pons_and_Fleischmann_report- discussed at the Notes

AXIL DIXIT

The five factors that might contribute to the formation of hydrogen Rydberg matter (HRM) are as follows:

Electropositive catalytic activity (i.e. lithium, potassium, calcium oxide, rare earth oxides),  The low work function of this material seems to be important in HRM catalytic activity. This includes graphite (http://arxiv.org/pdf/1501.05056v1.pdf

In the Lugano report, there was a coating of rare earths on the nickel fuel particles. This might be related to reducing the work functions of the nickel particles as a result of rare earth oxides in the fuel.

High pressure produced by flaws in the crystal structure of metal (i.e. nickel)

Electrostatic field produced by pointy nanostructures.

Hexagonal crystal structure that provides a quantum mechanical template for HRM formation.

A long timeframe – this speaks to the fact that HRM is driven by probability causation similar to radioactive decay.

Once HRM is formed, it remains active for a long time if it is kept inside the reactor core using containment of a magnetic material.

If you take a look at the latest data from the Pluto flyby, you can see another cosmologic mystery rear its head that can be well explained by metalized hydrogen as a LENR heat source.

Pluto is alive—but where is the heat coming from?

http://www.space.com/29968-pluto-charon-photos-active-icy-worlds.html

New Photos of Pluto and Moon Surprise, Puzzle Scientists
There is a tremendous amount of heat coming from the interior of Pluto and its small satellite; so much so, that the surface of Pluto is resurfaced by the eruption of ice from the interior of Pluto. Also there is a constant replenishment of the nitrogen atmosphere of Pluto from the interior.
The standard causes given for planetary heat production does not apply, that being heat from the sun, radioactive decay, and friction caused by tidal stretching. Furthermore, there is evidence that other smaller free standing bodies in the Kuiper belt sometimes called the Edgeworth–Kuiper belt, are at the far edge of the solar system are producing their own internal heat.
Although to date most KBOs still appear spectrally featureless due to their faintness, there have been a number of successes in determining their composition. In 1996, Robert H. Brown et al. obtained spectroscopic data on the KBO 1993 SC, revealing its surface composition to be markedly similar to that of Pluto, as well as Neptune's moon Triton, possessing large amounts of methane ice.
Water ice has been detected in several the Kuiper belt objects (KBO)s, including 1996 TO66, 38628 Huya and 20000 Varuna. In 2004, Mike Brown et al. determined the existence of crystalline water ice and ammonia hydrateon one of the largest known KBOs, 50000 Quaoar. Both of these substances would have been destroyed over the age of the Solar System, suggesting that Quaoar had been recently resurfaced, either by unexplained internal tectonic activity or by meteorite impacts.

In my opinion, LENR based on metallized hydrogen is a possible answer to these strange cosmological conundrums.

  1. Peter, are you being a 'tease' with your reference to what was left out by Pons and Fleischmann.... as the source claims it was "sonofusion"... hmmm... perhaps my work helps explain this, perfectly reproducible 'cold fusion' complete with commensurate helium production at outputs exceeding 100 watts http://atom-ecology.russgeorge.net/2015/02/01/sonofusion-returns-mainstream-science/
