LENR COMPLEXITY DISPUTE PLUS SOME INFO FOR JUL 22, 2015

RADICALLY RE-THINKING LENR...
NOW: TRYING TO FIND THE VULNERABILITIES OF MY IDEOLOGY

As told, and as both ethical and pragmatical, I am now getting feedback from people who are hostile to my re-thinking idea and, generally to my LENR ideas. It is kind of a VUCA-me play, I get information regarding what is dangerously vulnerable, fatally uncertain, unbearably complex and tragically ambiguous in my thread of statements- obviously in the opinions of my opponents.
I want to tell you that I am prepared for this battle- re re-thinking. In my Web search years 2002 to 2011 Jan, I wrote the weekly web-search newsletter INFO KAPPA  (437 issues) and the majority of editorials were about re-thinking, with the aid of the information available on the Web- of a lot of important concepts at least 350 of them.

The first seemingly most obvious and pernicious vulnerability of my LENR thinking is: using theories that are too complex and thus unworkable, too complex to be understood and tested It alludes to what I wrote, to what I have learned from Piantelli, Axil, Yiannis- things like nanostructures, nanodynamics, nanoplasmonics,
collective nuclear phenomena, the modern theory of active sites and many other phenomena.

Complexity is a fundamental feature of existence- it is derived from the infinite interestingness of the world see my philosophy here; http://fqxi.org/community/forum/topic/2015  It is not a problem of choice, we are living in a complex reality and science being honest search and investigation cannot build an alternative to it.

I have tried to understand long ago the concept of complexity- the issue no 202 of my web search newsletter was dedicated to it.
It had as Mottoes:
Man is an over-complicated organism. If he is doomed to extinction he will die out for want of simplicity. (Ezra Pound)
Man is a complex being; he makes the deserts bloom and lakes die.
(Gil Stern)

Three reasons problems are inevitable; first, we live in a world of growing complexity and diversity; second, we interact with people; and third, we cannot control all the situation we face.” (John C. Maxwell)

The editorial has used the essay: "Why we hate complexity?"  http://howtosavetheworld.ca/2006/06/16/why-we-hate-complexity/
by the Canadian ecologist Dave Pollard, who understands really well complexity, see please:
Pollard’s Law of Complexity: Things are the way they are for a reason. If you want to change something, it helps to know that reason. If that reason is complex, success at changing it is unlikely, and adapting to it is probably a better strategy.
Or: http://howtosavetheworld.ca/2010/10/10/complexity-its-not-that-simple/

Pollard has stated that systems thinking is the solution for technical complexity.
System thinking is the most important skill for those who want to make LENR a commercial reality

LENR, as a multi-faceted, multi-stage, multi-steps  cascade of intertwined phenomena coming from physics, chemistry, materials science, nano-whatevers etc. belongs to the realm of complexity.
Simple, simplistic, elegant theories- encomprising the diversity of forms of LENR, wonderful universal solutions are with us all the time and fade away, uselessly for the experimentalists.

Conclusion
LENR complexity is not good, is not evil, it is. The price of ignoring it is high- no LENR working for us.

The lovers of simpleness should better  play Go it has so wonderfully simple rules.

Too hot here to continue- about my other LENR-sins tomorrow.

“Major development in the understanding of macroscopic quantum behavior”

As a preface, DGT has provided original experimental research info on the behavior of the magnetic bubbles that the DGT experimenters observed through their observation window during the operation of the R5 reactor Hyperion Lab Prototypeas follows:

“These induced magnetic domains are expected to create many localized magnetic fields, randomly distributed on Ni surfaces, which can be regarded as localized magnetic traps (LMT) for hydrogen pairs and molecules. The sizes of LMTs may range from nano-scale to micro-scale.”

More broadly, the Referenced SpaceDaily article provides some valuable experimental derived insights into how LENR works and additionally lends insight into what these LMTs are.

In this nanoplasmonic research article reference in SpaceDaily, information sets the context related to the DGT observation above as follows:

“For the first time, the wavelike behavior of a room-temperature polariton condensate has been demonstrated in the laboratory on a macroscopic length scale.”

Then getting into the specifics, the article relates a valuable piece of info that resolves a LENR puzzle as follows:

“The size of the condensate is a limiting factor

In addition to directly observing the organic polariton condensate's wavelike behavior, the experiment showed researchers that ultimately the condensate size could not exceed approximately 100 micrometers. Beyond this limit, the condensate begins to destroy itself, fragmenting and creating vortices.”

The DGT references an observation of a Bosenova that eventually destroys the LMT Bose condinsate at a certain size limit. This Bosenova is when the LMT gives up it store of energy to the structure of the reactor.

To rap up everything into a set of conclusions, the LMT is really a polariton dark mode soliton. Specifically, this soliton is a vortex of coherent light that behaves as a black hole for EMF: a hybrid waveform of light and electrons. It grows to a size of about 100 micrometers whereupon it becomes unstable and explodes when the main photonic vortex motion begins to produce countervailing peripheral vortex currents. The research in the reference article puts a limit to how large these black holes of light can grow: 100 micrometers.

Also. from the SpaceDaily article it states:

“The condensate is created by first exciting a sufficient number of polaritons using a laser and then observed via the blue light it emits. Its dimensions can be comparable to that of a human hair”

The light emitted at LMT explosion(Bosenova) was company proprietary information, but it was almost certainly blue in the visible and beyond as black light ultra violet as observed and reported by Mills.

As a closing note of heartfelt regret, DGT is sorely missed as a generous source of experimental data and insights into the LENR Ni/H reactor reaction. The loss of their expertise, honesty, generosity, openness, and competence is a major tragedy for the LENR community.
